Kyle Miller is a Digital Media major at the University of Valley Forge graduating in Spring 2021. A Mac user, Kyle is proficient in the following programs: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro X, GarageBand, and After Effects. He is skilled with photography and videography, and has taken three videography courses, three photography courses, one podcasting course, a course in digital audio, one drone cinematography course, two design courses, and one web design course. He has also volunteered as a live production assistant for his university. For his internship, he studied under the discipleship pastor of Bridge Community Church learning programs such as Blackmagic's virtual ATEM switcher, ProPresenter, and Wirecast. He has worked as a live production assistant at Bridge Community Church for six months. Kyle also studied illustration at the North Penn High School and the James A. Michener Art museum for the past fifteen years. His favorite types of media to use are colored pencils, graphite pencils, and acrylics. Kyle’s mediums have also included oil paints, pastels, crayons, watercolor, pens, and charcoal. He has won the Superior Award of the KCEA competition for 2014 (twice), 2016, and 2017, and was given the Outstanding Senior Artist award. While his main interest in drawing is portraiture, he doesn’t mind deviating from the norm, such as his piece Tower in the Sky. This piece was inspired by a place he saw in a dream. Kyle plans on making more pieces based on dreams he has had. Kyle has been encouraged to also do voice work since he has been told he has a soothing voice. His photographs and videography reflect his views on the world. While Kyle sometimes takes a humorous approach to his work, he always takes his work seriously, and always strives to deliver his best.
